KENO INSTRUCTIONS
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For those of you who don't know how to play KENO, it is very similar to various
state LOTTO games. A KENO card consists of 80 numbers from 1 to 80. You pick
as many numbers (spots) as you want from 1 to 10 spots. The computer will then
pick 20 numbers of which you want all of your spots to be picked for a maximum
payoff. The amount of money possible to be won varies according to the number
of spots you pick, the price you paid for the ticket, and the number of spots
you actually caught (hit). FOR EXAMPLE:
FOUR SPOTS PICKED EIGHT SPOTS PICKED
HITS $ .25 $ .50 $ .75 $ 1.00 <- TICKET PRICE -> HITS $ 1.00
---- ----- ----- ----- ------ ---- --------
2 .25 .50 .75 1.00 5 8.00
3 .75 1.50 2.25 3.00 <- WINNINGS -> 6 88.00
4 28.75 57.50 86.25 115.00 7 1,480.00
8 9,999.99
There is many other possible combinations but the computer keeps track of them
all so it is not necessary to list them here. This game simulates a KENO mach-
in Nevada which only allows 10 numbers maximum to be picked where standard KENO
games normally allow you to pick 12 numbers or more. The Keno machine will pay
more than $9,999.99 normally on some payoffs, however in this game program the
maximum payoff is $9,999.99.
